Step into an evening of history, mystery, and candlelit intrigue at Hammond Castle Museum with the Spiritualism Tours by Candlelight, offered every Thursday from July through the end of October. These immersive after-hours experiences explore the rise of the American Spiritualism movement and its cultural impact, alongside Hammonds’ personal fascination with communicating beyond the veil.
As twilight settles over the Museum, guests will navigate dimly lit spaces and atmospheric corridors while uncovering stories rooted in both documented history and enduring curiosity about the unknown. This is not a theatrical haunt, but a historically grounded exploration of a movement that captivated a nation and left its mark on the Hammond legacy.
For the first time, the October 22 and October 29 tours will feature extended evening hours, offering guests an expanded opportunity to experience the Museum into the very late hours of the evening during the height of the Halloween season.
